I have been studying the double bass for 15 years and have had the privilege of learning under some of the finest teachers in the industry including Rob Kassinger, Derek Zadinsky, Paul Ellison, and Harold Robinson, all of whom helped shape my understanding both as a player and teacher.
I currently play in many ensembles across the greater Chicagoland area including the South Bend Symphony, Elmhurst Symphony, Champaign Urbana Symphony, and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.
My Teaching Experience
Before I started my private studio, I studied bass pedagogy under Jeremy Attanaseo where I taught many middle and high school students. I was also part of the Civic Orchestra’s mentorship program where I traveled to various Chicago public high schools and gave their bass students more personalized instruction through group lessons.
